Service FAQs

What is a ghostwriter?

A ghostwriter is someone who is paid to write something that is legally owned and copyrighted by the buyer. Business employees who write newsletters with the company name recognized as the author are ghostwriters. Non-profit volunteers who write a manual for other volunteers, and the organization is recognized as the author, are ghostwriters. I am a ghostwriter who helps messengers use the art of writing to record and share their message.

It is important to note that I only work with authors who are publishing their own message. I do not conduct research to write content based on a subject matter that the author chooses, I primarily work with messengers to take the information they already know and prepare a manuscript from this information.

How much does it cost?

My ghostwriting fees are based on the size of the book. For example, if you want to publish a 100 page book, it would cost about $4,375 plus about $350 for the Book Blueprint service that I use to prepare each book.

For more information about what is included in this fee, read my Book Blueprint and Ghostwriting pages.

What is the difference between the Book Blueprint and Ghostwriting Service?

Although the Book Blueprint is recommended before starting either service to help authors define the direction for the book, the Ghostwriting Service includes three professional rounds of editing and rewriting. The goal of the ghostwriting service is to produce a well-polished manuscript that is publication-ready.

It is also important to note that every editor needs an editor, and Danielle is no different. The Ghostwriting service includes editing by at least two independent editors other than Danielle who has the expertise and fresh set of eyes to enhance the quality of the completed manuscript.

Are payment plans available?

Yes. The Book Blueprint can be divided into four monthly payments. The Ghostwriting Service can be divided into as many as twelve monthly payments.

You can ask Danielle about payment options for your service during your consultation.

How will I make payments?

Before services begin, you will receive a copy of your service agreement via email for you to e-sign. After you sign the agreement, you will be directed to an electronic invoice that allows you to pay with your credit or debit card. Your service begins when your first payment is received.

You will receive a similar invoice via email each month until your balance is paid in full.

Payment receipts are provided.

What is a service agreement?

It is a written agreement that describes the name of your project, the service that will be performed, a tentative timeline for completing the project along with my terms of agreement and privacy policy which offer an explanation of your legal rights and responsibilities as the author and my legal rights and responsibilities as your hired contractor.

Is there anything else I should know about partnering with WD Ghostwriting Services?

Danielle will only ghostwrite one project at a time, but do not let this policy deter you from contacting her. When you have your consultation with Danielle, she will let you know when she will be available to start working on your project. If you need to start working on your book sooner than she is available, she will do her best to help you find another qualified ghostwriter.
