Book Not Selling? Let Tim Show You How to Sell Your Next 1000 Copies

“I watched in awe this year as Tim Grahl had 5 clients on the New York Times bestseller list in the same week. There is no one I trust more to learn about book marketing” by Pamela Slim, author of Escape from Cubicle Nation

When I first read Tim Grahl’s book title “Your First 1000 Copies: The Step-by-Step Guide to Marketing Your Book,” I was definitely skeptical. But when I read reviews like the one you just read by Pamela Slim, I became curious. By now, you should be too.

“Your First 1000 Copies” in a Nutshell

Tim’s book teaches the same technique he has used to help hundreds of authors sell books. He calls it the “Connection System”. Most marketing practices focus on reaching out to tell people about your book and your message, but they fall short because after you tell people they don’t allow you to follow-up in a meaningful way without coming across as a pushy buy-my-book messenger.

Tim’s answer is to adopt his Connection System so that when you focus on outreach activities to let people know about your book and your message, your system automatically engages people with content that will add value to their lives in some way and encourage them to sign up for your mailing list to learn more. When they are on your mailing list, your system continues to serve them by sending them information that they value so that you can build a relationship with them and eventually those relationships will turn into sales.

If you have followed this blog for a while, you know that I’m in love with Michael Hyatt’s book “Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy Room” and his message about building a relationship with people through a blog on your website. Tim’s book adds to that concept by giving authors an alternative to blogging that also has proven results. When you finish the book, he gives you a link to his website where you can gain access to free checklists and other valuable tips and resource referrals that will help you execute his plan.

Why You Should Read This If Your Book Isn’t Already Published

It’s proven to work, so start out with a tried-and-proven system and adapt it to fit your needs every 90 days based on how it is working for you.

Why You Should Read This Even Though Your Book Is Already Published

If you have already sold your first 1000 copies, there is a chance this book can help you keep up your trend.

If your book has not sold your first 1000 copies, then you have nothing to lose by trying something new.

How to Get the Book

Please note that if you click on the image above and buy the book that I will receive a small affiliate fee. Keep in mind that I only recommend products that I use and believe add value to the lives of my readers, and I genuinely look forward to hearing about your experience with the book.

However, if your book is part of your marketing plan for a larger service industry business, Michael Port’s “Book Yourself Solid” is a comprehensive DIY marketing strategy for solopreneur service-industry professionals that has helped those who use the system earn $10,000 per month and more by incorporating information products like books into their system. His message is similar to Tim’s message, but it keeps your entire business in mind.

So if you are a service-industry professional, you will want to use Port’s system for promoting your business and your book.

Again, buying a copy of the book through the link I’ve shared will allow me to have a small affiliate fee, but I only recommend the book because it has helped me grow my own business and I sincerely believe that it can help you too. When you get your hands on a copy, let me know what you think.
